TADTS is the normal clutch kinda chinky-chinky noise they make at idle is the best way to describe it.

If you're getting a noise when depressing, holding in, or releasing your CRB is heading on its way out. I know as mine has failed after 7 years, and I've had to order parts for our SV to be sent to Australia (where my engine/gearbox is currently on the floor) awaiting arrival. While you're at it, you might as well replace both plates to your clutch, and the clutch cable.

If you are dry-sump, have a look at www.meltingclock.com/bad and check your clutch fork carefully. Found the cracks in ours and now awaiting the clutch fork so I can get the car back together...
