I have created a few itn files on my tomtom for certain route. I have tested them on my tomtom (720) and they have worked fine. However when i have emailed them to others the first waypoint is always in Redhill. Now this is not something i have put in, it just comes up on other people tomtom's. If they mark it as visited then the next waypoint and there forward are all correct.

Any ideas? It has done this a couple of times now but does not happen on mine.

Is Redhill the start point?

nope, nothing to do with the route in any way shape or form. I just dont under stand why it comes up. In fact it is miles from the start point and is no where near the route.

It might help to open one of the problem files in Notepad after creating it on your TomTom, and look at the top line (itn files are straight text files).

Each time you create a new itinerary, are you doing 'New Itinerary', or is there any chance that you keep starting from an existing itinerary which happens to have Redhill in it?

I will try the notepad approach. The redhill thing is very strange, i have never been there with this satnav and it does not appear on any itn. I always make a new itn and never go near it.
