Hi!

Well, the car is back in the bodyshop. Firstly to tidy up a couple of bits that have been annoying me, and secondly to clean up a small bit parking damage caused by someone elses' negligence.
All going well the car will finally be near perfect condition, hiding its age and milage well.

Its probably sods law that the car will be written off by someone in the company car hack when on my way home tomorrow from the bodyshop. Always the way. LOL.

Anyone else get a sort of uneasy feeling when their car is with someone else you dont really know? I had to leave the keys with the shop (Its haggys dad) but I get the same feeling at service time....
(how long is that test drive going to be? Will they let it warm up etc etc etc)

Haggys dad is also recharging the sense of direction too.

Hi Neil!

Hope all is well,

After you left this morning i was told to move my black VR6 golf, so dad could get her in the oven (bodyshop) so he could crack on with it straight away! after his cup of tea of course haha. He's got a couple of nice jobs in today, your M5 and Paint the arches on a caterham 7 which arrived last night. Are you picking it up tonight or tommorow? it will be locked in the workshop, secure anyway next to my mean looking dogs lol!
Fantastic looking car though! i sold my X5 on friday, so that will be going sometime this week.........decision time on what i get next though?? scratchchin

I'v put it away now as its sold until it goes, like you said, can just see me taking it out and someone crashing in to it or something! not worth it. Yeh, just replacing the wing mirror as a transit van decided to remove it for me mad
Probably going to be E46 M3 convertible, really like them in estoril blue!

Neil i thinki just saw Haggys dad in the carpark at Tesco Windover in the ///M doing burnouts. He had the Rottweilers in the back seat stting and slobbering everywhere.

Only joking - quality job he did on the front end as well.

Cant be mine. He has just phoned me to say the first coat of 'urban cammo' Gumball style has dried and is looking great. Here was his blueprint.

Yeah nice! A friend has one but in steel grey.

Lovely car. If I had found an estoril M5 when I was looking I would have had one straight away. Sadly that was when estoril carried a premium as they are rare on M5's. Now they are worth nothing - like mine! LOL.

Snoopstah- you'll have to let me know how yours comes out. Mine is up at Back on track at the mo gettng a new turbo but will need to see a bodyshop next after a pheasant incident. Expensive times!

Neil- I'm hoping to see a shrine to the World's greatest M5- http://www.teampolizeihq.com/wp-content/gallery/pa...

Just seen your beast! loving the mods on it, suits it so well without looking over the top. You done anything with regards to the engine?

Yeah, it's got a few tweaks wink

Should be around 300bhp but it's having problems with the fuel pump at the moment so it's 'only' around 250bhp.

Looks pretty good to me! There's a small patch that's not quite a perfect finish but otherwise it's spot on!

I'm rubbish at telling if the paint is the right colour or not but it looks great to me, I can't see where the paint was blended.

Overall a recommendation from me, especially given the price, and I'll likely be back in a year or so to get the front end resprayed.
