Lambda Sensor MK5 Golf

As above guys, how much does it cost? both at the stealers and independant.
Can a local garage do it for me if I get the correct part?

Yes a local garage can do it, its just a bit that bolts into the exhaust and has a wiring block to connect to the car.

Im not sure about the Mk5 but the Mk4 has 2 lambda sensors, one pre and one post cat, Id guess the Mk5 is the same.

They are about £70-80 and £100 ish for the pre and post cat ones on a Mk4 so similar for a Mk5.

Just rang the stealer and they said £200-250. She didn't have a clue what I was saying at first. The part alone was £100. Must be some mistake, I'll ring around some more.
