Hi all,

I soon will be moving into a victorian house which has two lounges. One will be the formal lounge (the wifes) with period peices and mine will be the relaxing room with the multimedia stuff in like plasma, hifi and the like.

If anyone has done a similar room in your old property, please can you post some picture of your modern lounge within old property.

Also, I need to replace an old 70's gas fire with either a modern fire or go back to origianl with areclaimed firplace and mantle. I cant help feeling that a traditional fire/decor will look wrong next to floor standing speakers, plasma and seperate hifi.

I am really looking for inspiration!

Thanks

David

Thanks, just remembered that my work system seems to block attached photos leaving only the red cross in the box. I will check back on this thread tonight.

Thanks in advance for anyone giving any help. Looking forward to viewing your photo's tonight when i get home.

Picture just appeared, That looks very tasteful. For once i will have walls that will support a 42"er. It would pull down the wall in my current home!

My place is fairly Victorian with lots of quirky rooms with period features. I really like my gadgets and ended up converting a garage area in order to get a fairly modern space since it was fairly hard to adapt what was already there to what I wanted to end up with.
