Number Plate Size Request

It looks as if I have the oportunity to fit the custom plates 420 SEAC to a car I am importing.
A bit pretentious maybe but they are cheap enough and can even come in red lettering on a white background (should look good on a red car).
They also come in various sizes and as I don't have the vehicle yet and I need to pre-order the plates could someone please pop out to the garage with a tape measure and let me know what the standard size number plates are in the UK - both front and rear if there is any difference.
Also if anyone can let me know how they are attached on a SEAC as any fixings may affect letter spacing.
