Opticians

Anyone know of a good quality opticians not too far from the New Forest? By that I mean a good selection of high quality glasses frames and not the usual Vision Express fayre? Looking for something a bit upmarket if anyone knows of a place?

Thanks guys. I was rather leading with the chin and suspected that Specsavers might come up. Google is not a good idea as then you get all opticians in an impossibly wide region. I wanted a personal recommendation for an upmarket optician.

Very good quality frames and better technology than your average Vision Express in my opinion - they can scan the whole of your retina.

No worries - I have been using them for the last 8 years or so. Always very friendly and helpful, and happy to 'adjust' your glasses whenever needed !

There is a place in Ringwood called Apollo. He just does frames/lenses etc for a discount price. Very good business. Its on the Carvers Industrial estate, near ATS.
