Having just fitted a new battery to my Chim speedo its now reading 0 miles... Anybody know if it is possible to return it to the correct mileage and if so, a firm that will be able to to do it? cheers

Just do the same mileage again. No, hang on...

Actually I wouldn't worry too much: as long as the history stacks up I don't see why there should be any problems at sale time if you explain.

There's a battery in the speedo??????




How does that affect the odometer - mines analogue/mechanical.

yeh..its nice to have a 96 car that has such low mileage

It can be done, don't know how, when mine went tits up some years ago, I just sent the whole speedo to ETB Instruments with some service history/MOT's etc, and it came back with the correct mileage on it
