Silly question but are the units that come with live traffic updates just equipped with the external ariel as part of the package or is it built in to the unit?

I have seen a good package in a store local to me but the unit needs an external ariel to get live traffic which isn't a problem but if it is built in to the unit on the other models I'd rather not have a mass of wires on my dash.

Picked up my 740 live today, theres no aerial its all done by gprs (sim card inside)- apparently theyre on the vodaphone network.
All I'd say is you get 3 months free useage then its between £7.99 and £9.99 per month for the updates.
Its got some good tricks such as 5 day weather forecast, voice activation (not tried it yet) and mp3 player that links through your radio.
If you dont want the charges after 3 months then Ive been told the 730t is the one to go for but its not "live" and there is an additional aerial.

One gripe though, seems like the live system will only work in the country its bought in. I guess something to do with the roaming/sim card inside.
Maybe see if the traffic aerial fits for foreign travel...

Thanks, the one I was looking at didn't have a sim card so must have an ariel.
