Can someone explain the relevance of this Song Contest,

I know our efforts yearly are laughable,
and this years chinless wonder/X-factor type combo arent going anywhere

Wouldn't be so sure, our entry is not that bad, written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Diane Warren.

Germany have Dita Von Teese on stage tonight, and apparently in rehearsals she exposed her assets. Not sure whether that will happen again tonight.

Just don't take it too seriously, there are some quite good songs in there (if taken out of the context of eurovision). The quality of music and performance is far better than 10 years ago, when you heard bum notes and off key performances.
