Discussion
Clutches are usually uprated ones - a variety have been used. Rover Sd1 tend to last about 30 seconds.
Brakes are obscure Ford parts. The bible has a lot of information on where some of the bits came from but TVRs are hand built and there is a lot and I mean a lot of variation. Big discussion on the pifalls in the maintenance/servicing chapter.

On cars with SDI gear box is the clutch a std Rover or Land Rover part or a TVR specific part?
Like wise the brake discs & pads. Rover or TVR or something else?
Come to think of it is there a book that lists where the various bits come from?
Can't help you with the clutch issue, but all the brake bits are Ford
I could say what model mine are but I can almost be sure your's will be something different The last brakes I worked on were on a 4.3 Grif and the front discs were Ford Sierra 2.2 diesal
The best thing to do is strip one side down and walk in your local autofactors with it in your hand and match the bits in there before you buy anything
All manufacturers source parts from various suppliers, they can't afford to rely on just one. However throughout its development each TVR model, it seems, will have a variety of parts. So TVR is no different in that respect from mainstream suppliers, it just happens a little more frequently. It also allows the cars to be deveoloped more easily than others.
