programing drums on Garage Band

HI all,

just set up a little home studio (all changed since I last recorded stuff using a fostex in the late 80s early 90s!!) with a Mac as my weapon of choice......got all the kit I need and understand how to work most of it ........I am just getting infuriated by the drums!!!!....I would like the abbility to easily progromme my own beats and just can't work out how to do so ........please help!
