Some twat in a Merc drove straight in to the back of me. I wasnt' even moving. He just plowed into me. There is now a 12 inch crack from the boot badgde down, with some scuffing either side. Its quite a mess.

Any guesses at a repair estimate?

Not good news, difficult to tell on cost but £2k likely. Hope no injuries. If you need any assistance feel free to email me.

If that's it then it should be nearer £500, otherwise if it leads to tales of the unexpected then I fear that jigs may have won this sweepstake.

-- and £10K for your whiplash - bad day for the Merc driver!

If it happened in Belfast you'd have half a dozen injured passengers as well!

Just been shunted myself (month ago)... 3mph impact (driver behind on mobile phone and comforting crying baby in passenger seat) in traffic. No damage to the fibreglass structure, just paint job needed. Chameleon blue... £800 for the paint, £200 labour!

If you can post a pic there are a few pro's on here who could give you a fairly accurate estimate.

Looking at four figures definately though...
