East Sussex or Kent TVR car club meets

After reading the recent thread about the Hampshire get together last weekend, just wondered where, apart from here, the various regional groups publicise their get-togethers in advance... is there somewhere I can submit my details to be notified when these meets are arranged...

SE London/NE Kent - 4th monday, Rose& Crown, Dunton Green

Mid-Kent - 3rd Weds at the Windmill, Hollingbourne & 1st Sunday, lunchtime at the White Horse, Sandway

Theres a full list of every regional meeting on the back page of Sprint. Are you a TVRCC member? It's worth it for the excellent mag alone...

Isn't that pub located just before the overtaking stretch of the A272?...I'll have to forfeit a good blast and check it out sometime! Are non-TVRCC owners from West Sussex allowed to come along to a meet? Hmm...I spose I could always say I live near Sheffield Park and gatecrash...

I'm not sure - my working hours/location prevent me from attending! However I'm pretty sure all are welcome - non owners are certainly given a very warm reception. Any particular reason you're not a TVRCC member?

Hi

SE London & NW Kent meets twice a month, on the first Sunday (lunchtime)& fourth Monday (evening) at The Rose & Crown, London Road, Dunton Green, just north of Sevenoaks. This time of year we seem to be getting 20ish cars at a time, in the summer our best turnout was 42!

We also tend to do something or other most weekends, either an organised (sort of) event or a drive out in the country to a nice pub.

If you would like to join us please drop me a line via my profile for more details, same goes to anyone else.

Our next meet is this Sunday coming..hope to see you there.

I used to travel down to E Sussex from Bromley, I didnt even have a TVR at the time but was made to feel very welcome.

Our meet (SE London & NW Kent) often has people from Sussex, Surrey, Mid Kent & Essex there..the more the merrier.

Hi folks,

Thanks for all the replies.. I may well come along to this Sunday's meet up in Dunton Green. I'm just down the A21 near Flimwell so it's fairly easy for me to get there....

And Julianhj, yes I am a member of the TVRCC.. thanks for pointing out the social calendar though... I hadn't noticed it poked away at the back there...

East Sussex have a number of non-TVR owners (me included) and several outside the county (as far afield as Maidenhead!). So as long as you like a good natter you'll be welcome. Next meeting isn't until the last Thursday in January but we will be having a number of Sunday drives before then.
