Touch up paint

Is starmist crimson a std colour from one of the major manufacturers or a special TVR colour? I'm after one of those little touch up bottles you get in Halfords etc.

As far as I know it is a TVR colour only, you need to speak to "BigAl", he has one that colour and recently bought some.

I would have thought there is no such thing as a TVR only colour, as long as you have the standard ICI paint code then anyone should be abe to mix up a match? Rich...

There are plenty of colours that TVR have used that other manufacturers have not. Crimson Starmist is one of them, therefore, not much point in looking for it in Halfords.

Morning All not on in the evening at the mo guy's, PC gone tits up!

Poorpete, yep mines Crimson Starmist. I got two numbers on mine one under the bonnet and one in the handbook!
I’ve found from experience that the handbook give a better colour match.
IIRC the paint code is P185. **I'll check lunchtime.

I got two touch-up pots from Webb’s autos at Bristol, about this time last year.
Used one in the last year including a front headlamp cowl respray.
