Whilst looking to buy a new hot hatch ,ive been studying the new car data in Auto Express and Car magazine and they're still listing the Chim 4.5 .
Thought Chimaera production had ceased all together or has it ?

As far as I understand you can still order one it's just that TVR don't advertise it.

Oh I could start a riot here, but I'll refrain.

Not sure really I guess the diplomatic answer would be that the Griff sold in relatively few numbers compared the the Chimaera so it made sense to stop it fully.
If TVR can move 1 Chimaera a week or month or whatever there is probably good reason to continue production as I doubt it costs very much to manufacture now.

I think it that the 5ltr is no longer ava. where the 4.5ltr is ava.

I was faced with this and did'nt fancy a Tamora so opted for a nice secondhand 500 and had the wheel/brake upgrade and speed 12 headlights fitted.I absolutely love it.
