Suggestions for a really good summer driving mix compilation

actually, doesn't need to be specifically for driving, just a good mix of summer music.

Having grown up in the 80's, most of my music tastes runs to shoe-gazing, angst ridden indie stuff so happy poppy music isn't something that comes to my music collection easily. I need a list of tracks to put on my MP3 player, what can you suggest?

My list so far is:

• Echo Beach - Martha & The Muffins
• Surfin' USA - Jesus & Mary Chain
• Misirlou - Dick Dale
• Club Tropicana - Wham (what can I say? It's perfect for summer, and who would have guessed that they were really airline pilots? Remember - drinks are free, fun and sunshine enough for everyone. All that's missing is the sea, but don't worry, you can suntan)
• Walkin' on Sunshine - Katriona and the Waves
• Summer (The First Time) - Bobby Goldsboro (if only for what could be the cheesiest song lyric, evah "sat on the sand, a boy took her hand, but I saw the sun rise as a man").
• Summer Breeze - Isley Brothers?

Strangely, I made a comp for the same purpose a few years back that had the above (I too come from an 'indie' background originally that left little room for more cheery tracks!

Other things I put on the same CD and don't regret looking back included:
