Anyone know of a good diffuser for the MT-24EX?
The Sto-Fen Omni bounce are good - link - I used to use just them but have added - these - custom jobs which fit over the top of the Sto-Fen - the two together give a lovely soft light smile

Been trying out a reverse 28mm... not as sharp as I've had from the reverse 50mm, but more magnification and can't complain too much about a lens that cost me $1

It's a unique lens in a lot of respects - really a challenge to use but gives results like no other. Would recommend it smile

A little wasp (~7mm) that I found dead. Focus stack of 20 images on white card. A least this one didn't move around!

That dragonfly shot is amazing, the light is a just the right angle to make the wings transparent.

Very impressive that 7D is at ISO 3200, how much noise reduction did you have to apply ?

Oops, if you hadn't of said I won't have noticed. Normally try to shoot with ISO around 200, must have put it on Auto and forgot to take off. I've not applied any noise reduction, just light and colour tweaks. ISO now fixed again. Thanks for the feedback. smile

Just be careful. I got "inspired" by this thread several years ago. The vast majority of the shots I take now are macro!

+1 You're at the top of a very slippery slope!
