i'm going, but i generally find that few 'car nuts' go to festivals.I've parked my Aston amongst the euroboxes at V festival and not spotted any other decent cars in the carpark, or am i missing something?

tongue out to the lot of you!

didn't get a ticket as i thought i hadn't registered but i had, just used a different email address. am seeing neil young and blur at hyde park over consecutive weekends, so those tickets + travel + nights out = more than than the cost of getting wasted for 5 days in somerset.

That would suit me, they couldnt play 2007.

Chas and Dave were ace though.

The Quo, Spinal Tap, Tom Jones and Madness back to back will have to do...

its a pretty awesome lineup in all, am pretty gutted as there are a fair few on there who don;t tour often [ray davies, csn] and when they do play ste venues.

Had to turn down VIP tickets in order to have chemotherapy. Not happy. Hopefully I'll get the same offer (without the need for chemo) next year...

i'm sure i saw the Wurzels last year, was a bit of a haze though!
nearly ready to go, be there 8am wednesday in the camper field
CSN are a must for some of you younger guys, the harmonies and the way they work together is fantastic.....but will they turn up on Niel Youngs set or vice versa??

Aren't Kasabian billed as special guests, on right before Springsteen?

Rumour has it that Jack Whites new band "Dead Weather" will be there as one of the special guests. Worth it just to catch Alison Mosshart is action. lick

Special Guests....Rolling Stones.

They played Neil Young's version of The Beatles A Day In The Life on 6Music earlier. Sounded awesome.

For the first time in years I wish I was back there again.

I last went in 1994 ... after watching the festival on TV this year the investment committee / entertainment committee / planning manager (who, luckily are all the same person, my wife) have voted in favour of a return next year for the 40th Anniversary festival! Planning starts now, arranging kids cover, and I will be buying the worlds cheapest tent & sleeping bags in the first sale of the winter!!

In return for this planning agreement, I have to go with the aforementioned committees to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show ... that's not a bad deal in my book.

It's 12 months away, I'm still watching it on TV as I type, and I am already getting excited about it!!
