This is a thread for all the good muisc MJ did.

Just downloaded THriller, Bad and off the wall. I forgot how good these are.. It is easy to talk about all the Non Music stuff but these in my view are master pieces of music. Never been a big fan but the music to me seems timeless( forgetting about the 80's synths)

Any other MJ lovers (non pun intended)

Saw the Moon walk on youtube and brings shivers to my spine..

Thanks for that, have read the whole thread.

I am not one for the majority of 'pop' music and what is generally classed as 'black' music, but I do like a fair few of MJ's songs. The production/music has always interested me, so was good to read those personal accounts of studio time etc.

Cheers, Greg.

He was the BEST entertainer of the past century and surely the most controversial. I think it's pointless to speak about his private life because lets be honest none of use really know what he was like, most of the things people read in the media was cr*p anyway.

I think it is a true tragedy and a massive loss to the music industry, he was amazing.

He was always on the periphery of my musical tatse and interest but I recognise a great performer when I see one and he has written or performed many great and memorable songs.

One of my favourites is Earth Song with a fantastic video too.
