Just wondering if anyone on here had purchased one off plan as I did and what their feelings on it are?

is this the same location that has multi million pound charges against it so would make selling difficult or does that only affect the freehold company and not the leaseholders?

Not sure. It is in Salford, construction has been halted. I bought a Studio so not a massive amount of money.

A quick internet search reveals that it looks the developer is going under (alledgedly) and that deposits will be repaid by insurer.

Not sure. It is in Salford, construction has been halted. I bought a Studio so not a massive amount of money.

Very interesting reading. I was aware of the problems with KW Linfoot. Hopefully I can get my deposit back via Zurich Insurance. Are you familiar with the legality of this situation? My solicitor is on Maternity leave rolleyes
