I guess we can blame the Ford Focus for that.

This concept is too SUVish for me. I'd have preffered it as more of a sports tourer without the offroad references.

Still, it's great to see MG/Rover pushing the boat out

I think the car looks good at the back, and not too bad (for an SUV thing) from the front. Bit dodgy from a three quarter front view. I guess it's lining up against that Volvo thingy and the Audi Allroad?

Hard to get an idea of exactly how big it is with nothing to compare it to.

well if you can fit a washing machine in teh back it aint tiny!...looks quite tall and narrow from these pics, but I think that might be a perspective thing.

I like it...it doesnt look apologetic which I always feel Rovers have in the past......

Why do manufacturers keep on foisting upright headlights on us? It didn't work with the Prelude, and it hasn't worked on anything since. (Dagnammit).

Pfft. The Rover looks good from the rear 3/4 though.

Looks nice for an estate car. I don't want an estate car though! Hope they come up with something to replace the max powered 25's soon.

Probably both designed by the same computer program

It's taken thirty years of mis-management but this car has done the impossible and given Rover a sense of style and purpose...and I like the grille. Why has it taken so long !? ...oh yeah I just said why...

My dream car would have the performance (and sound) of a Griff, handling like an Elise, engineering quality of a Bimmer, the looks of a Ferrari and still be able to do service carting children and junk around at the weekends.

This car isn't it - yet, but it's going the right way (ish)

Looks far more appealing than the Porsche abomination IMO. Now get it out on the market as it is not much use in an exhibition hall.

20 years more like, the SD1 was a superb but badly made car. Now MG-R has great engineers again.
