That corner at circa 1 minute looks very familiar...

Am I right in thinking this is one of the roads in the valleys? The A4061 by any chance?

Just bugging me because I'm sure I've driven it and I can't think where.

sorry for late reply, looks like the A4107 but can't be too sure. i should know since i've driven that road quite a few times now! it's on the way to afan forest park...so it's a great drive there, then brilliant mountain biking smile

It's not the bit of the A4107 I recognise, but never really been north of Cymmer.

Of course it might not be South Wales at all, but I just had a feeling I recognised it.

It's not the A4107. The only good thing about that road is the biking at the end of it!

are you mad??? have you been to the fun end of it, or do you drive from the motorway side of it then on to afan/glyncorrwg? the other side, so if you turn rught out of afan forest park then drive for a few miles...that is a brilliant piece of road!!!

Not the best in the area, but it is definitely an awesome road, once you get past the first couple of villages from the M4. Used to drive up there regularly when I was living in Swansea and riding at Afan. There's nothing like thrashing your car down a nice mountain road, then thrashing your MTB over some excellent trails! biggrin

yes

Was at uni in Swansea at the time.

Cwmcarn is well worth the trip too, although that's definitely more for the riding than the thrilling M4/dual carriageway slog over.

Have to admit to only going from M4 (Port Talbot) to Glyncorrwg.

Quite possibly I think I posted in the Readers car section at the time and the rallye register, if you've visited there. biggrin

I miss my little Peugeot, it was a lot of fun on roads like that.
