Does anyone know how to remove the veneer dash behind the steering whell on a 450SE, the one with the speedo & rev counter in, is it as the centre dash with wing nuts on.
Any assistance would be appriciated.

Martin.

On mine (400 so I think tha same) there is a bolt on the rear of the vaneer. You need to remove the nut, very fiddly. Its at the bottom in the middle. That removes the front bit. Then there is a metal plate that holds the clocks. That has 4 nut and bolts holding it in. One in each corner. On mine they now have large penny washers that grip the edges of the fibre glass surround. Hope this helps.

Good luck. Just remembered that I couldn't fiddle the nut on the front part back on but it wedges in nice and tight (no pun intended).
