I have a TomTom 100 which has been perfect in England, France and Spain. However I have just recently moved up to Aberdeen and the think is fckin useless!! It is always losing satelites, when it does work it keeps thinking I'm driving in the middle of a field - On the A90 Dundee to Aberdeen I was 'Off road' for about an hour.
Is there something wrong with my unit, or is this what happens in Aberdeen??

PS - my crap, nasty, horrible 'Free when you joinn the RAC' Route 66 seems to work fine.

My Tom Tom One XL worked almost faultlessly over 5 days hooning in Scotland last week. Only once it got confused by what was obviously a new road that had not been updated to the map. Satelite coverage appeared the same as normal.

Updating the maps on your unit may go some way to solving your problems.
