Changing the battery

Is it a big job on a speed 6? Is the battery type readily available? The battery is covered by a grp panel. Any advice gratefully received.
Think its just a matter of getting the panel off which is held by a few allen head screws. Not sure about the battery type, but if you get one with the same ampere/hour it will do the job. Glad to see another speed6 owner!
not sure re speed 5 ut on the 4.5, its two allen srews holding the cover (one on each wing). Remove them , lift the cover slowly and move back over the windscreen. Disconnect any water pipes (wiper ones) in the way.
You should be able to see the battery, remove + wire and tape off. Remove the bolt/plate holding the battery. Remove the battery (may require some force or a prise with a thick screw driver......same to push the new battery into place.)
I got mine from Dealers --Type 072 (600 cranking amps). Cost 58 plus vat.
