Just watched Mad Max 2 for the first time in years & couldnt help but wonder if he'd have fared better if he replaced his Pursuit Special Falcon (BTW- where's the site of the guys who'll build you a fully functional replica? I thought it was thelastinterceptor, but it doesn't seem to be there) with a go anywhere Bowler, but I'm not sure if that would be the best choice in the UK, where it rains- a 101 FC or Pinzgaur might be a better bet, but wouldn't be much cop at outrunning the retarded chav-offspring in their dirtbikes.

Is that Rubens Barrichello looking at it ?

I'd go for an Alvis Stalwart myself - 6x6 and amphibious too

Last time this topic was talked about some guy posted a huge Russian truck that could run on petrol, solvents, diesel in fact any flammable liquid, if I could remember the name of it that would be mine.

Diesel engines - so you can run them on oil extracted from chavs

For British roads, I'd have a Nissan Micra, absolutely bullet-proof.

It would have to be a diesel, that way it can run on sludge or whatever. A Land Rover Defender I think, with a big engine and some armour. It might be able outrun the bikers, but if armed suitably should be able to blow them to pieces.
