Wondering if anyone out there has a 765T, and had any views on it. I have been using Garmin for several years and looking to update from a 310. I have been reading reviews and the 765 has some issues switching itself off, has this been sorted.

Any views

Would avoid, we tried updating these with a SD card flash but didnt work, has to go back to garmin

Besides they run the older software and are due for replacement soon, the 1390t does all you need (well except for the FM Transmitter) and has a much nicer user interface.

£260 in store at the moment, but £230 should be possible, very good unit.....

Out of interest, what's wrong with the 765T? Only asking because my 760T has been faultless in all respects, and i thought they were the same except for map coverage...

I think it was a software problem that stopped them booting up, garmin sent my store an SD card update but that didnt work for them either and they all had to go back, still not had them returned from garmin, seems like they may have pulled the line, dont think they are 'current' for much longer anyway.

But they ran fine before that though, dont exactly know what the problem was, but all our stock suffered.
It's a good unit dont get me wrong....but unless you really want an FM transmitter the 1390T does the same job and with a better user interface.
