The ebay auction said:

Why are we selling: perversely due to its success. We own a number of web sites and have a number of other internet based classic car businesses.   This one is getting so many enquiries it is deflecting from our core classic car operations, so though we have only owned it a short time have reluctantly decided to sell.

that website is shite, i was interested in it. With the amount or work to be done, you better off spending the time doing it yourself thus saving £800.

it was originally sold on ebay for £1500 and obviously the winners thought the exact same way.

also the domain name - tvr-ads.co.uk - is rubbish. Anything with a non-alphanumeric character is crap.

TVR-Ads what?????? £800 no way.

My site got mentioned in the Auto Express Cerbera's buying guide (thanks for pointing it out Simon) for it's information and the classifieds it carried and they were just one of Ted's widget linking PH classifieds to my site, which I no longer have due to a upcoming redesign and change of layout.

And my TVR site has a non-alphanumeric character in it's URL.
