It's that time of year, our car is used daily and with the dark nights upon us the lack of decent lighting, on dip in particular is a real pain.
The alighnment is OK and I have fitted the up to 50% brighter bulbs, I don't think so.
Has anyone fitted driving lamps and if so do you have any photographs showing how they look ?

Maybe it's terminology, but "driving lamps" are for use with Main Beam. You appear to be wanting something better when using dip beams???
The only "real" improvement will be with HID technology, that is High Intensity Discharge bulbs, those "bluey" looking headamps.
You could try www.hiduk.ltd.uk/acatalog/HID_Conversion_Kits.html
But you pays for them - nearly £1K for the bulbs !! But it makes night driving like day !!!
I have no association, other than "colleagues" have converted their motorcycle headlamp to HID and mine look like candles......................:-((

80/100 - legal, wiring will take it and a vast improvement over standard 55/60 and no dearer. I've got them on mine and very rarely need to use high beam anywhere. (I usually change to these on all my cars.)
Check you're getting at least 12V to the lamps as a poor earth could cause poor lighting.

Sorry, not legal, but then who's going to "actually" challenge you !!
So ignoring the fact they are legal or not, it's a bit of a sweeping statement as to whether the wiring is really rated for nearly double the amperage - the fact you haven't had a problem does not imply "Geo" will have no problems !!!
What I suggest you do and again I have no link with them, is to fit the upgrade for headlamp wiring www.mod-wise.com/. You "may" then be able to use illegal 80/100 watt bulbs (or even higher - 100/140) with the knowledge that someone has considered the increased amperage and may cure your problem.

Personally, I don't care. If there's someone in front I use their lights to see the road. If not I'd be on full beam (not that I've yet had the chance).
ETA: Oh, and crap lights helps keep you within the speed limit .

FWIW, I changd my bulbs to decent legal Phillips ones. Lo & behold out came 80/100 ones. No great difference noticed I must admit. The interesting thing though is that the reflective material was not in good shape - effect of the 100w bulbs?
Lighting is still OK but I believe it would be improved if reflective surface was 100%.

try www.mod-wise.com and their brighter lights option, this made a huge improvement to my Cerbera, i also gave the reflectors a good clean.
