Ok, not mine but outlaws want me to do the pics as they have no PC...me also no PC. Praktica doesn't list a MAC driver and google not helping. Anyone know of one?

Off for a bit more googling....

If the camera can be connected via USB, it might hotplug and identify as a mass storage device. Pictures may then be copied via the filebrowser.

Cheers Bodo. Tried that. Get an unrecognised drive.

I assume that the memory is built into the Camera and not a removable storage card?

If thgis is the case then the only way you will be able to do it on a Mac is to use PC emulation software, to effectively turn your Mac into a PC, copy the data and then reopen them using Photoshop or similar, having said that are the images saved in standard Jpeg compression format?

Sorry I can't be more positive, but I hope this helps.

Yep, built in memory. Not going to get an emulator for them though, cheers for the idea.
Think this is flogging a dead horse, I was only having a go as a favour. If it won't work, it won't work.

Ho hum.

It works

Thought of upgrading but not sure if OSX is going to do too well on a 266. Sort of if it ain't bust etc.

PS given camera to someone else to try on their PC.

Forget OSX, too many things are
not ported for it so you'd just be running in classic (OS9) anyway. But OSX is VERY stable.

An upgrade to 9.2.2. will run fine on a G3 266, definately worth an u/g.

Cheers. Will do in time now. Only one of my mates uses a Mac but its a twin G4 jobbie so had no comparison to a 266.
