Well I held out a bit longer (Im argumentative at the best of times and as I payed on my credit card I wasn't too worried about getting the money back) and guess what arrived yesterday! Im still slightly astonished its here, after almost 3 months of waiting and arguing. Whilst it was definitely a bargain there is no chance I will be using Nigel O Hara again. If they had said upfront it was a 3 month timescale that would have been fine but the constant "We assure you it will be here next week we promise" approach is a shocking way to run a business.

Anyway, its my first G-shock and I love it. The only thing is that while the watch doesn't look to big on my wrist, the strap is a little long. I might consider cutting it near the last set of holes (assuming I can do it neatly) so that the end isn't poking out the side.

Excuse the phone pics (and the fact they're sideways)

I've had one of these for a year now and apart from being a little disappointed by the less than day glo orangeness of the strap, its a fantatstic watch.

O/T my Godson is 9 in a couple of weeks and is always trying to releave me of said watch. So I'm trying to find him something similar but 9 year old suitable (price wise as much as anything else) as a little extra pressie. Any one have any suggestions? Needs to be G-Shock style and very orange.

Seriously, buy this - http://www.creationwatches.com/products/casio-g-sh...

It's a cracking watch at a superb price.
I have one and it's pretty good, only issue is reading the display at night (obviously hands are easy to read).

I've got an old Casio G-shock from around 1983. It has 'bull bars' and was pretty tough, got worn every day on building sites and every weekend canoeing and skiing down mountainsides and last time I looked it was still going strong. Are these new ones the same ?

Orange for a kid? GA150A-4A or a G-315RL-4AV would be my choices.

Cheers. I've seen the GA150A-4A before but not the G-315RL-4AV. That's one less present to worry about. Now, what the hell is a Mind craft...?????

When sold it was £500

http://www.watchshop.com/mens-casio-g-shock-premiu...

So I'd guess £300+ for an A1 condition used. Perhaps 400+ for B+P (or T+P ! smile )

perhaps more

just my guess though, it's worth what someone will pay for it.

Limited run and "collectible" you might get much more for it.

Ebay is a fair place to sell it, as long as you stick to legitimate buyers and only hand it over when the money is in your bank account, obviously.

There are many, many specialist watch selling websites, but you have to register on them.

If you don't mind, could you tell us how much it goes for eventually? If you don't want to then obviously that's fine...

Would be nice to see what a limited edition premium Gshock fetches after the run finishes

This thread has no place on page 2 damn it!!

It's all your fault that I've got a King and now I need another.

So, GA100?

Stealth: https://www.firstclasswatches.co.uk/casio-g-shock-...

Black on cloth: https://www.firstclasswatches.co.uk/casio-mens-bla...

Red on black? (Which would match my King) https://www.firstclasswatches.co.uk/casio-g-shock-...

7900 rescue? https://www.firstclasswatches.co.uk/casio-g-shock-...

Or something else entirely?!? Sub £80 is preferable although not essential. Also anyone have experience of the above seller? They seem keenly priced and have the advantage of being local to me so I can pop along and have a proper look before purchasing.

I just received a gd-350 for £66 from creationwatches (sold out now). Its a nice grey colour rather than black, which makes a nice change from black case and straps. Its large and clear compared with some models which might suit particular occasions.

I bought that Stealth one (GA-100-1A1ER) off Amazon, I love it and it gets lots of attention/comments by people thinking its something far more special than it is.

I bought it on Amazon using the fashion code, under £50 with next day (Prime) delivery smokin

My son passed a significant entrance exam a few days ago, one of his rewards was a watch, he selected this:

Ordered via Amazon for just under £100 and I'm genuinely jealous. It's a stunning watch and I'm already relishing "borrowing" it. It's his 3rd G. I taught him well biggrin
