A3 2.0 TDI Quattro Re-Map

i am in the process of buying a 140hp 2.0 Tdi Quatrro. How much work and money is required to get it up to the 170 spec and real world what are the performance gains / losses economy etc?

also are there any recommended specialists in the North east who are good at re-mapping.
