Blimey, top result; not beaten palace for ages and 2 goals from strikers.

COYI

Looking forward to Tuesday.

Looking forward to seeing that on MOTD later, we absolutely bossed it! Not sure where that performance came from.

Looked quality. Zarate's volley a belter and decent build-up to the second one. Pity tomka hit the bar, 4 would've been nice.

Yep and it was £12m Valencia who failed from the spot.

Didn't expect that. Shouldn't be losing games like that with team played though.

Fair play to sheff u though, played ok and had chances that a decent striker would have taken.

Positives for me: poyet and demel looked good and Valencia and sakho had chances.

Bigger game at weekend.

Don't think early LC rounds are ever a sell out, not a valid comparison to a PL game.

I may be wrong - I was once, back in 1997 - But, I had assumed that these were exactly the games that show the true depth of support for a club. Aren't tickets available to those who aren't season ticket holders as this is an extra and not included in the standard season ticket allocation? Allowing those who don't usually get to attend matches to go.

Tickets available on the gate. Early LC rounds don't usually sell out at UP, last season v Cheltenham was 23k, year before was 18k v Crewe(don't know about other clubs but suspect it's a similar level of attendance) - 28k was a very good attendance (bearing in mind that capacities 35k) for a stty Monday evening in E London.

Look at pictures of Leicester City's match, not sure if there was anybody there. I was going to go but had a heavy bank holiday weekend and was still recovering.

I just did a quick 'Google' to see where Jack Collison ended up. The answer seems to be that he still doesn't have a club.

Very odd. confused

He's training with Ipswich. He played one U21 game for us, McCarthy wants to seem him play and hasn't as yet. It's quite likely, but I think his fitness is a major concern.

Thanks for the update. I like JC a lot & wish he was still at WH.

Was never the same after doing his knee at Wigan. Was quite ironic that he ended up there on loan as there fans were an utter disgrace that day by booing him for going down with no-one within 15 yards of him. Wasn't rocket science to work out it was something very serious straightaway. Very brave to have played immediately after his dads sudden death, and any decent football fan irrespective of allegiance would hopefully wish him well.

Well said, hope he finds a Club - thought that he might've been heading to Bournemouth.

Us Ipswich fans are really hoping he's fit, we desperately need 'something' in midfield.

Skuse hasn't been playing particularly well for us, not to mention he's not exactly forward thinking.

I think that he'd fit in well at Portman Road.
