When was the last time we got to the end of October having won 5 league games? Or were in the top 4? (Top division only though)
Not sure where to look for the stats?
'86? Not sure where to look for the stats?
Can't quite believe it yet - what a game.
Top effort from everyone, song immense and deservedly MOTM.
Bit annoying that we beat the champions and haven't moved up the table though!
Reckon the post and cross bar have fking lumps out of then from the city shots as does hart's chest after valencia's effort in the first half.
Cracking atmosphere from start to finish and good to hear acknowledgement of performance from oppo manager for a change.
Finally Sakho, how good - fking quality!
COYI!!!
You lot were great today, A+ for effort and determination, although your woodwork certainly played its part.
I don't mind losing (to much ) when it's been a good game but that long haired tt of a fan of yours gets right up my nose.
If Katy Perry offered me a shag I'd turn it down soley on the basis that he'd been there first.
Mind you, you can't help who supports your club ( thinking of Liam )

As I said on one of the Hammers forums, you cannot fault any of the new players; Song, Jenkinson, Cresswell, Amalfitano, Kouyaté, Valencia and Sakho. I haven't seen enough of Poyet but he didn't do anything wrong when he played the other day. How long since we bought load of players and they all turned out to be good? That and as a result the remains of last years team are playing so much better, the improvement from Downing stands out to me. Remarkable... So who do we praise, BFS, Super Ted, the 'talent spotters' or the Two-Daves for explaining the way it should be? COYI

Silva's a bit good, surprised how quite aguero was - saw him at arsenal earlier in season where he looked unplayable. Glad we kept toure to mostly pot shots.

Agree, all have settled really well - odd looking at a bench full of last season's first team. So who do we praise, BFS, Super Ted, the 'talent spotters' or the Two-Daves for explaining the way it should be? COYI
Really impressed with Cresswell today - championship to marking champions league team.
Fingers crossed we can pull a permanent deal out for Song, awesome today.
I've been proved well wrong on valencia as I thought he'd take a while to adapt.

I thought Aguero played ok, the disappointment for me was Dzeko tbh. Silva's a bit good, surprised how quite aguero was - saw him at arsenal earlier in season where he looked unplayable. Glad we kept toure to mostly pot shots.
Toure's not had a really good game all season and the back 4 hardly know each other.
But that's no excuse, you played really well today.
Have the "Sam out" voices gone quiet now?

It seems the BBC are majoring on this since Shearer said something on MOTD last week. Now everyone's jumped on the bandwagon. Fact is last season we were pretty crap and things had to change. you can't blame the fans for expressing their opinions. As a result the Two Daves had an end of season word and explained that we, the fans, wanted more attacking football. As a result BFS appointed an attacking coach, Teddy Sherringham was his suggestion. So, what's the issue? The real point, for which I applaud Allardyce, is that he was mature enough to accept the criticism from the Daves and make the desired changes. Good for him, it's good to be a Hammer at the moment and Shearer and the BBC can piss right off. RichB said:
