Beginning to think that we'll never beat Everton in my lifetime FFS. Can't think of another team that we have a worse record against, fking annoying.

Dropped points against villa bit of a worry now with inform Newcastle up next and key injuries affecting us.

In other news it takes fking ages to get back from Twickenham to Chelmsford!

Yes, it's a shame he's reverted to type and brought back Nolan, Carroll and the others. I'm guessing its down to injuries, surely he wouldn't change a winning team?

Sakho, Valencia, Song & Kouyate all injured & thanks to mumbling Roy, Downing also injured on International Duty.

Next five games are very important so losing our four best players isn't the best prep. Hopefully a couple will be back for the weekend as our recent results at home against newcastle have been ste.

Creswell!!!!! Having to watch it on a stream as I'm not in the UK this weekend. It has seemed like a poor game from what I've watched so far...

Yep, ste first half but dominated second and got the win. Should probably scored another but three points is three points.

Thought Creswell, Kouyate & Collins were excellent and AC looked much fitter. Good to see downing and Noble back in - was worried on way up that both might miss out.

Important win that; wba away and Swansea at home on Sunday next.

Assume toon fans cheering & clapping on 17 mins was for the poor bds killed when the plane was shot down earlier in the year - good support, nicely done.

Bit of an aside but really heavy police presence outside the ground on the way in - don't know what that was for, not normally that many. Odd.

Correct, the clapping was for the two NUFC fans killed in the MH17 accident.
And I can assume the extra police is due to the trouble between the two sets of fans at the Schalke Cup in Gelsenkirchen this summer.
Well done on your win from a NUFC fan btw. Im waiting for MOTD to watch it.

Thanks... unfortunately we've got to wait until they've eulogised about Chelsea and their 0:0 draw at Sunderland. Doh!

Cheers. Missed the problems in the summer, dunno what brought that on.

Your 17 looked decent, little from the rest of them.

I presume the police was because of the idiots in Germany in the summer, it kicked off quite badly according to a guy who stands next to me when I go.

Doesn't seem like I missed much of a game but at least we've got the three points, just over half way to safety now smile

Who would have thought we'd be above Arsenal and Spurs after 13 games?

It was a bit weird, like when m¤lwall come but with less s.

Game wasn't much but important win.

Should also add well done Mark Noble - overtook Steve Potts in all time appearances for WH.

That's just since the "Premiership" started, as we know they and Sky always ignore history from the old first division wink

A true Hammer but he's got a long way to go to reach Billy Bonds record of 793 first team appearances! biggrin

Touch wood that he stays injury free, but he's a modern-day one-club man in my opinion, with every chance of overtaking Bonzo.

Still, well done for breaking Pottsy's record.
