After the all change for me non-event deadline, what's the current status with Andy Carroll ?
2-3 weeks away from returning apparently .
Which means she's 3-4 away from being out again ....

so that's 6 red cards, 5 standing and one rescinded so far this season after only 4 league games.

Good. Should never have been a red in the first place.

Or to be more accurate 1 red card after 4 league games but 4 gained in Europa Cup matches.

TBH, I could see "why" it was given, even if I didn't agree with it. When he first stretched, his foot was in the air so it "looked" like a lunge, when in fact it was just an effort to stretch to gain a few inches before his foot was in the right place to touch the ball.
In the end, it was more of a toe-poke pass than a tackle, and common sense has prevailed.

Reffing (sp?) has been terrible this season so far across the leagues from what I've seen.

Hopefully w/ the new signings that we've made & the fact that we've been scoring goals the Club won't rush him back before he's ready - a fully fit AC is a pretty decent option. If he's fit & scoring it'll be interesting to see where SB will fit him in as Sakho's the clear #1 striker at the moment.

I'm sick of how our deal is always compared favourably to the Man City deal. The Etihad was designed from the start to be cheaply converted after the games for football use only, as Man City were to be the Sole tenants. Man City also benefit from the naming rights revenue, so it makes sense they should pay more.

We're going to get a compromised, 'multi-use', stadium that's far from ideal for football, and will also be sharing it with other tenants, so it stands to reason that our rent should be lower!
