Good evening, I have tried searching the above but have not found a definitive answer.
I need to find both of the above for my Sept 90 400SE.

Grateful for any help or advise.

Tks
Rob

Ford Capri or Granada Mk 2 2.8i for the expansion tank; the overflow tank is a generic washer bottle used on many a chunk of old Brit tin.

The overflow tank is the same as the TR7 windscreen washer fluid holder. You can get second hand ones from TR7 specialists eg www.ss-preparations.co.uk

The trouble with the Ford ones is that they are moulded around a number of steel reinforcements where the hoses connect. The steel corrodes and the increased thickness splits the polythene tank. So buying second-hand ones is probably false economy... well it was for me, the second one only lasted a year before it too split rolleyesbangheadcurse

I am told that the Capri 2.8i is different from the Granada, and indeed is the right one. No one has the ****** in stock old or new. All the experts say get one in ally, but can't find who does it.
Going on The Sarum Moonraker run 27/8 and really need to get one. HELP!!!

Personally I'd get it made in stainless unless you are bothered about the weight. You can just fit and forget with stainless, no polishing, no rusting etc.
I had some parts made at a place called Fusion Fabrication. The web site doesn't seem to be working at the moment but found an Article here with some examples of the work and contact details. http://www.fastfords.org.uk/fusion.html
Cheers Steve
