New Year's Eve - daytime, just on my way to pub, turn off seafront going downhill to de-restricted section, change down into second - boot it a LITTLE - yipes! slightly misjudged wetness of road - snaking all over the place downhill!! bus coming up the hill, back off gently with opposite lock accordingly and steady accelerator, bus passes OK, car straightens up - still alive!

Trouble is, now I'm sooo old I don't do this sort of thing these days - life preserving trigger is louder than larking about instincts! So I'm a little more gentle these days. Driving across the marshes was slightly more circumspect, but still had to boot it round last bend!

Roof off of course. This wedge is fun!

I didn't see the expression on the bus driver's face!

you should try it in a little suzuki jeep ... rear wheel drive, and a wheelbase a lot smaller than the wedge ....

Nope, 1.3 16 Valve, and more ground clearance than any TVR ... incidently, it has pulled many a TVR off trachdays when theyhave broken down ...

Sorry chaps!

Clearly sideways motoring and snaking all over the place is par for the course for all you hooligans! Seriously uncool of me to mention my minor escapade. I did try to delete this thread - but I couldn't cos it had been replied to - honest injun!

I am not worthy!

Firefox,
Divn't worry man - par for the course with BBW ownership - See Revrends vid on a thread of about 4-6 months ago. Tank slapper accel in the opening sequence. Ask Father Ted - he has experience of Yellow SEAC's doing just this!
Enjoy (oh BTW - not exactly young myself!)

Surely all Wedges should be away in warm garages for the winter. What on earth are you doing driving it anyway???

Garaged over winter? Where is the fun in that?
