I work for Mercedes, so its good that you now feature the odd one. I'm liking the C55, whats the story behind it? For sale or work in progress?

Thanks Mikey!

I've literally only just bought the C55...just over a week ago.

No, the intention is to keep it. I REALLY, REALLY like it! My intention is to pottle to work Tues-thru-Thurs in a nice little 190E that I have and then 'treat' myself on Monday (well just to get me out of bed actually laugh) and Fridays.

I'm currently selling the the A160 and the SL280 though (or rather once the project is finally completed hopefully).

Glad to find someone who works for MB as it's all new territory for me...you may be getting a barrage of questions now you've let that slip! laugh

Superb work on the E39 540i! They are really good cars. And what an absolute bargain price? I always did like that Glacier Green colour. But that fuel consumption figure shown in one of your pictures...what on Earth had you been doing? The 'Ring? laugh I've never seen a figure that low on my E39 540i Touring! laugh

Best.

Lovely car the C55. I'm thinkig about a C32 next yum

If you have any questions I'll try & help whenever i can, if i don't know the answer, one of my collegues will do thumbup

Yes the 540i was a bargain, the reason i bought it was the massive service history that came with it & although it was scruffy i could see the potential. The bodywork is straight, i can only find one car park ding which i'll get sorted, the rear bumper needs repainting (next month). I had the front bumper painted on Friday. It also needs a few bits of interior trim to bring it up to standard & a minor oil leak needs looking at. Otherwise I'm enjoying it driving
