Just seen this advertised.

THey offer free central parking for 'Car Clubs'. Maybe a PH meet there, and get some decent parking?

I'm heading down there too. We're all in convoy for a wedding in the morning but I'll see you there around noon time.

Found out an 'Adrenalin Sports' show is on at the same time, could be a good day out.

Opens at noon, shame - I wanted to head down in AM to beat the locals.

What a load of ste.

The 'show' turned out to be a hall with a load of people's cars parked in it - which you had to vote for - and a few crappy stands around the edge. I assumed there would be a show with loads of stands/demos, and then the voting/display area. It was a modified car carpark that you had to pay 50Dhs to enter.

The drift demo didn't happen either, as the drift cars couldn't be bothered to turn up.

The Adrenaline Sports show was equally as weak - a load of random expat kids skating around a wooden arena and falling over (which was amusing for a little while). Then a few hundred Filipino blokes dressed up in camo playing paintball.

I was done within an hour, and that was walking slowly around.

In defence of the drift guys their cars were stuck out at sea due to some problems with the shipping company. Hence why they asked some of us for our cars to use. They did give people free set of rear tyres as a thank you LOL

I saw the Corvettes in the middle and assumed it was you - although I didn't stick around to see the action.

The whole show was very much like the Big Boys Toys show... ie cr@p. I spent a couple of hours there and disappeared. Saw the drfiting and the Rage buggy playing but that was it really.
