Do Jessops price match...

I have a really good price for a DV Cam, it's £80 cheaper than Jessops price, but I'm not sure whether they price match to net based companies.

No, unless they have physical shops too like Park Cameras

This company do have two shops, one in Ilford and another in Forest gate.

Having read their small print it appears that you must be within a 20mile radius.

Yeah, they'll try that. I've got round it by pointing out the shops are within 20 miles of a Jessops branch, has worked a couple of times. Last time they did it, but added the delivery charge.

RESULT!

All credit to Jessops, I asked about price matching and the reply was 'if it's a UK based company we'll do our best to match the price', can't say fairer than that.

The guy even had to phone head office to check if he could match as my price was so much cheaper than their sale price. The upshot of that was that no, they couldn't match the price, best they could do was £50 off their sale price and the remaining difference in accessories.

So at the end of the day I got the camera for the price I wanted and didn't have to wait 14 days for delivery.

Now I've got to wait for it to charge up.
