Hi all,

In Bangkok last week, and listening to a CD in a bar, but the owner had no idea who it was. It was a CD album of Bob Marley covers, sung by a female singer, in quite a chilled out acoustic guitar style.
I know it sounds naff, but actually it was rather good. The only thing google shows up is "Bossa and Marley", which it definitely isn't.

Any help wins a virtual pint, or a real one if the person is near Solihull.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the effort chap. Are these not just randoms hosting vids of themselves? The album in question was a properly released effort, the bar owner just had a ripped copy...

nope, not either of those. Fair play tho mate, thanks for all the sleuthing. It sounded like an acoustic set, but the whole album was Marley covers... its doing my head in now...

I'm a massive fan so happy to put a little bit of time in.

Just downloaded Spotify and found loads of cover albums.

Here's a few really mellow acoustic versions I've found, if you have spotify, I'll post playlist smile

Acoustic Coffee House <- worth listening to anyway
Island All Stars

I'll keep editing this post with more, rather than spamming, does she sound like anyone in particular?

Is there a particular song you remember being played?

A link to the Island All Stars version. http://www.audiolunchbox.com/album?a=224290

^^ I'm damn sure that'll be it, I give up if not wink
