A4 airbag light

Assuming everything checks out I'm just about to buy an '05 A4 Avant Tdi S-Line. The previous owner had the front passenger airbag disconnected due to baby seats so the dash warning light (in the main instrument binnacle, set in the rev counter IIRC) is on. This car does not have a key in the glove box to activate/deactivate it, nor does it have a dedicated warning light in the centre console next to the hazard switch.
Question is, is this an easy job to rectify? How much will it cost? Is it main dealer only?
Thanks!
