Hi, ive been looking at a few of these on the net and while they look good (s-line) i was wondering how they are to drive. Sold my 51 330d 184bhp standard which i had remapped and fancied a change to a petrol car. Are these quick and can they be modified easily? Not looking to do too much remap etc.

Depends what you want it for... cruizing around its a more than competant at. A remap should see ~230 BHP iirc. Its never going to set the world alight, unless you throuw some more money at it... but I like them alot.

Yes that's about a grand over priced but the quattro in particular is very nice and very tunable smile

Only glanced at it earlier, didn't spot it was private. I very recently sold for 9 an 04 plate quattro saloon, virtually identical but without the nav (CD nav is virtually useless). That was obviously fully retail prepared and warranted.

That's going to want a cambelt on age also if it hasn't been done yet.

Problem you may come across is that it's a rare car and you won't have very much to compare it to - hence a seller perhaps unwilling to move on price. If it's gorgeous and the service history is bang on then 9 is there otherwise I'd wait for one more competitively priced - it is right at the top end of B6 money.

Decent car, I have the 190 s line too, be prepared for Water Pump and Coil Packs failing, common faults and te belt will need doing at 80,000 or 5 years, so that ones due.

Apart from that, nothing has gone wrong with mine over the 50,000 i have done in it

Can be noisy at high speed I have found sometimes.

Nav in the car is crap, unless you upgrade the CD >£200
