I don't read this forum very often, I didn't do a search so I hope I'm not repeating a quesi.

"vettes from US to UK" has anyone done it? does anyone do it on a regular basis.
Cost, real cost, It's easy to just get a quote from a shipper, but that does not always cover the bits at each end.

Tax in UK, although I'm in the US and not my prob, I'm primarily looking at the older large block cars, is the tax lower on "classic/collecter cars" or is it cc?

PS this is definately not a sly advert, this for a buddy in UK who just wants two cars that I may get for him if the prices are right while the dollar is low.

Add 33% to the price of the car and check out the older threads on here as this has been talked about before

The actual shipping is less than I thought it would be.
It's actually cheaper to get a car from New Jersey to UK than from NJ to California! ($2-3k)
