Last worked for them around 20 years ago - not sure it would be relevant now. Which site you looking at working at?

Yes.

If you are looking to apply to them then you may at least want to get their name right before you speak to them...BAE SYSTEMS. They are very proud/uppity about the use of the wordmark.

What do you want to know? There are a few MESSYBEAST types on here. Understand though that BAE SYSTEMS is not the same as the old BAe, the company is now very different.

So, I hate unfinished threads...18 months in, boy is this organisation strange compared to just about anywhere else I've ever worked. Interesting though.

Nope, very much a private sector background, working in big blue chip companies. BAES seems much more public sector.

Heh, there is a reason its called MESSYBEAST.

It also depends where you work, Warton, Salmesbury, Farnie, Bristol, Rochester, etc. Each site has its own culture and competency level of what it does.

Just thought I'd add to this thread... I'm a fairly new starter in Telford, been there 6 weeks, and their systems are very different to what I've been used to (Coming from the private sector)

It's hard enough being a supplier to them (Radway Green and Birtley)...
