Did you hear soem Idiot Beeping you Today at the Traffic lights on Hatfield Rd in Potters Bar about 10:30 ish. It was me I was in the van behind the Land Rover with the Big blue E on the side.
Then proceded to go for a full Breakfast in the Cafe next to the Green Man Pub across the road.
Low and behold I heard a rumble and there you where again .
Twas looking and sounding good

So now you know who it was so dont look so puzzled next time

Well...I hate to say this BB....but the Peril was tucked up all day in the garage!!!

Unless it has developed as yet undiscovered 'Herbie' characteristics .......it wasn't me mate!!!!

There is another guy....I think it's Simon Sparrow (not sure though) who has a yellow Cerb with colour coded wheels, cos we did a double take at Thruxton when we saw it parked in a field!!!

Might be why the person looked so puzzled....it wasn't me....

Never mind....nice thought.....

Pauline, I think you might have to keep better tabs on Ray..

I might well have thought that Pods....but the thing is....my car had broken down and, as a result I was trapped at homeuntil I was rescued.

I did suggest to Ray that I take the Peril to work.....but he suggested it would be better left in the garage due to the fact that there had been 56 accidents reported by Essex Police by 12o/c that day.

Not that he didn't want me to drive the Cerb....much....

I'm sure he was only thinking of me.......

So...I do know that it remained very much in the garage just begging to be taken out.
