I got my transfer certificate to put my personal plate on my cerbie tomorrow, just noticed tho! quite wicked really that the rear number plate is backlit and not a standard one. does anyone know if these are easy to get or are they special order items?

Easy to get, although not too sure Halfords would do it?

Hi Julian,

I see you're in Hampshire, Racing Green will be able to make up the rear plate.

You will need to take the registration documents, driver license, pint of blood etc. to prove you own the vehicle.

Neil.

Alternatively you could skip all that and just get them from www.fancyplates.com

Just put in the notes field that you want a Cerbera backlit rear and they'll sort you out.

I'm ordering one from fancy plates today, with the space behind the plate I've been considering the concept of creating an "invisible" car. Think cctv cameras & infared lighting. I'll try it out next week & let you know how I get on. For legal reasons if this works I can only condone using it in countries with no speed cameras, trips to Alaska & the like

How are you going to test it ? Got a speed camera in your test lab ?

Remember, over about 150mph, you are too fast for
the camera anyway....or so I'm told

Remember Top Gear & their speed camera test ? Tuscan at 171mph was too fast for it (or that might have been luck - I wouldn't want to risk it)

Hi ya olly, we've got a ton of cameras in stock with various shutter speeds, so I'll try it with everything.
Might not work, but we're pretty confident. Stealth Cerb ?

Julesby - I got mine done at Fernhurst, just before Christmas, Racing Green are also a local option. Think it was just under £50 with postage back to my home address. You will need to bring all your paperwork to the garage though, so they can see it is all above board
