OH got me one for me burfday in Sept. Standard unit, no fancy extras. Claims to come equipped with up-to-date camera locations. I connected it to my PC - this presumably only updated the latest mapping.
I have posted eleswhere (SP & L) re this - it picks up some of the gantry cameras on the variable limit section of the M25. I have been advised that the unit is probably needing updating, but I can't understand how some of the gantry cameras are detected but not others - I would have thought that all those cameras were installed at the same time? I am loth to pay out for a camera update only to find that the bleddy things are still all not detected!

Get yourself on there for up-to-date (updated daily) speed camera, redlight cameras, etc.....

You download the poi file for the area you select, and you get an email everyday telling you it's been updated, with a link to go to...

Few clicks of your index finger and it's done....

Nah! I'm always being asked that. It started when I first got on the PC bandwagon; while me and my lad (Davevo9 on here) were both building Lotus 7 clones, I gave him a lot of assistance and he started calling me Petemate as at the time we were watching a lot of Mark's progs. (eg - 'Petemate, give us that 'ammer' 'Petemate - pass that 10mm combo' - you know the sort of thing) As I am old with grey hair, it seemed appropriate (though I don't look much like him and haven't got a beard) and it just sort of stuck. On a couple of forums and e-bay, I am Oldgitpete but quickly created the new user name after a couple of kind friends said they didn't like the 'old' tag.
